Who is the Fresh Mama?
Fresh Mama’s Kitchen was founded by Debbie Goldberg, a lifelong food lover and seasoned restaurateur with deep roots in the Southern California dining scene.
In 2008, Debbie and her husband, Adam, founded Fresh Brothers, a beloved, community-driven pizza brand that grew into a household name across Southern California. Built on quality ingredients, hospitality, and heart, Fresh Brothers became known for feeding families and creating comfort through food.
In 2018, Debbie stepped away from day-to-day restaurant life to focus on raising their twins. During that chapter, she returned to her first love—cooking for the people she loves most. What began as a labor of love in her home kitchen turned into an obsession with perfecting one dish: matzo ball soup.
After countless batches, tweaks, and taste tests, Debbie created a soup that delivers everything she believes comfort food should be—rich, nourishing, nostalgic, and made with care. Fresh Mama’s Kitchen was born to share that feeling with more families, one bowl at a time.
